TripAdvisor - 5 stars! Out of this world I chose carefully as on this occasion I was travelling alone. I couldn't have done any better had I tried. This apartment is just fabulous on every level, spotlessly clean, every mod con, fast wifi (I was still doing one of my jobs whilst away), superb views, easy walk into Brixham and easy to get to from the main road into Brixham. I have stayed in a lot of cottages over the year but this apartment blew them all away, hands down the best ever. I just needed the cold wind to drop but hey, it barely rained, so for a week away in England I guess that is about all you can ask for. I would have liked more time to sit on the balcony in warm sun though. The walk into Brixham is very scenic if a bit steep coming back but it meant I could leave the car behind, catch the ferry into Torquay for £3 return which was cheaper than petrol and parking and then, had I wanted to, get a bus to numerous places. Super restaurants in Brixham, I had seafood in several and a cream tea in Montpelliers. Do try Claws Indoors and the Breakwater if you like seafood. I visited Dartmouth via the ferry, Living Coasts, Paignton Zoo, Cockington, Slapton Sands, Paignton, Totnes, Broadsands to name but a few!! Brixham is a little out of the way for travelling around but I placed location above convenience and I am glad I did. I am not so keen on Torquay and Paignton and for me this was the ideal location. Woods to the front of me, woods behind me and the coast on my doorstep. Do walk through the woods towards Churston, bluebells galore at this time of year and a great circular walk to be had. It would be helpful to have some directions to get back to the main road...... once you hit the one way system wow what a plethora of side roads, some of which are very narrow, many parked cars and 2 way traffic.... and unfortunately there is a diversion in place currently. I took to going to the end and turning back on myself down Overgang Road to emerge in the harbour but that meant going out through the town to get anywhere. I did try several routes across the middle but they were all a bit tricky. I hope to get to return to Bayview, shame I can't bring the dogs!! Thank you so much to the owners of this apartment for making it such a pleasant and comfortable experience.

This contemporary first floor apartment is positioned on the premium front row, where guests can take full advantage of the magnificent views out over Torbay and opposite to the National Trust woodland from the timber decked balcony. Tastefully decorated and furnished, pale neutral colours lend themselves to the beach house theme of this coastal pad, its open plan layout, light and airy and the perfect choice for a beachside holiday for families or couples. The property offers accommodation over one floor and has a mixture of carpeting, tile and wood floors throughout. External and internal doors are of a standard width and height with the exception of all the bathroom doors which are slightly narrower than standard. Kitchen worktops are of a standard height. There is parking for one car in an allocated space in the car park on a concrete surface, roughly 200m from the property. There is a paved pathway to a timber staircase and 15 stairs leading onto the decked balcony and entrance. Level entry through patio doors. Beautiful apartment in the perfect location!

Me and my partner have recently returned home after a four night stay at Bayview. We wanted to get away for a relaxing seaside break and really liked the look of Bayview from what we had seen on the internet. After arriving at the Bayview we could not have been happier , it rose above all expectations which were already pretty high ! The apartment was spotless and the decor absolutely gorgeous , as a huge fan of next furniture and accessories I was in heaven as it was just like a next showroom. The photos advising bayview only show one sofa but there were actually two sofas which was a nice surprise. The kitchen is lovely and well equip, I can't think of anything it didn't have available , good branded kettle, toaster and microwave , plenty of plates, glasses, cutlery etc the kitchen also had a small dishwasher and washing machine. The bathroom was also spotlessly clean with plenty of towels also has a heated towel rail which was really handy. The bath is very small not sure how comfortable it would be as so small but we used the shower which was more than adequate :) Both bedrooms had modern flat screen televisions on the wall as well as the lounge. We slept between the two bedrooms over the four nights, due to being used to sleeping with the window open at home, the main bedroom located at the front of the property (with the beautiful sea view) doesn't have a window because it has the double patio doors out onto the balcony which we didn't feel happy leaving open overnight which therefore resulting in getting hot during the night , the second bedroom located at the back of the apartment which does have windows but has two single beds rather than a double which we just pushed together ! Both bedrooms have built in wardrobes with plenty of hangers. The lounge/dinner has two lovely comfortable sofas and a small dining table that can extend if needs be. In the draws of the coffee table there was plenty of take away menus and leaflets on tourist destinations and trips which came In very handy. Also found in the coffee table were packs of cards and scrabble which was a really nice touch :) unfortunately we didn't get to take advantage of the lovely outside furniture on the balcony due to the good old English weather ! But can imagine how lovely it would be to sit out on the balcony with the right weather , the balcony gets the sun first thing in the morning so would be perfect for breakfast in the sunshine :) there is a lovely short walk down towards a private little cove down by the sea which you can then continue on a short walk to Brixham town (10mins). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bayview and would love to return at some point in the near future , it was such a good location as pretty close to everything we wanted to do whilst in Brixham ( Paignton zoo 25min drive ) ( babbacombe model village apox 30min drive ) (Torquay April 30min drive ) ( kingswear ferry port apox 20min drive) The only negative I can think of would be the ongoing building work , but it was stated online that this may be the case as the apartments are so new. It wasn't a huge issue but our view when looking to the right of the balcony was skips and building equipment this was made bearable by the most amazing sea view to the left ! The noise wasn't too bad when the patio doors were shut and it was only on occasions that there was any noise and too be honest we were out most of the daytime and they had normally gone by the time we got back. There was one day where we couldn't get back into the site car park as they were doing the Tarmac at the entrance this was slightly inconvenient resulting in us having the park in the car park for the holiday park over the road , we went in to the reception of that holiday park to explain the situation and make our car known so we could move it if needs be but the lady behind the counter was really off standish and rude , we would defiantly not be booking a stay at that park ! I would highly recommend the cove holiday apartments , all the apartments in the complex looked lovely from what we could see from outside of the other apartments but Bayview seemed the best matched to our taste in decor so very happy with our choice of apartment :)
