Fabulous views across farm meadows, pretty valleys and out towards Dartmoor and sitting on the edge of Exmoor National Park, this is an idyllic area for that much deserved family holiday where the children can watch the lambing. Glorious walks from the farm and woodland trails nearby will delight children and adults alike whilst Exmoor boasts miles of rolling landscape all the way to the coast. Filled with an assortment of wildlife and heather you will be astounded at the beauty of this unique Park. Take a blanket and pack a picnic but remember that sheep and Exmoor ponies roam free here. Exmoor National Park is also an International Dark Sky Reserve and on a clear night, the sky is simply stunning, so sit back, gaze up and enjoy. Close by are the towns of South Molton, Barnstaple and Bideford offering shops, local produce markets, cinema's, a good selection of pub/restaurants and nightlife for the younger members. The beautiful beaches of Woolacombe, Saunton, Croyde and Westward Ho! are all within easy driving distance and the views above Putsborough Beach are breathtaking. There are miles of golden sands, safe bathing and plenty of water sports, or take a cycle along the Tarka Trail to experience some outstanding views along the way. Perfect - whether you are looking for complete relaxation or a base to explore this wonderful area. Drewstone Arches is a detached barn conversion on the owners' 300 acre working farm, with a similar cottage on site. Character filled and beautifully presented it has an 'upside down' layout with bedrooms on the ground floor and an open plan kitchen, diner and lounge with a fabulous wood burning stove on the first floor. Well equipped and with an enclosed garden and also a lovely play area for the younger children including a trampoline (one at a time please), tower with 2 swings, slide and a fireman's pole. Please note that there is a fenced lake within the farm grounds - children must be supervised. Also available, just a mile along the lane, is Woodland Hideaway, sleeping 6, making this a perfect choice for family and friends who wish to holiday together.

3 Bedrooms - sleeping up to 5 guests Ground Floor: One step into Bedroom 1 Double. One step into Bedroom 2 Twin. Bedroom 3 Single. Bathroom with bath and separate walk in shower. First Floor: Open plan Living room/Diner/Kitchen with 32" TV and wood burning stove (with free logs). Other Amenities: Free WiFi, DVD player, fridge/freezer, washing machine, use of tumble dryer. Children's games and books. Bed linen, towels and central heating included. Private, off road parking for 2 cars on level ground 5 metres from property entrance. Enclosed lawn garden with furniture and BBQ. Arranged on 2 levels, the property has a mixture of carpet and tiles throughout. The internal and external doors range between 60cm and 76cm wide and are all of a standard height. Kitchen worktops are of a standard height.
