Arrival & departure
As a rule, the majority of our holiday cottages in Devon will be happy for you to arrive anytime from 3pm onwards, however this is at the discretion of the owner of the property. This is merely to ensure that every step is taken to ensure the accommodation is thoroughly cleaned and prepared for your stay.
Every holiday home is different, and while some may take less time than others, the arrival and departure times will be confirmed with you at the point of booking. If you would like to discuss arriving earlier, please just give us a call and we will do our best to speak with the housekeeper who can usually be flexible.
If you are going to be arriving at your cottage a little later or after dark, please don't worry - the majority of our properties offer key safes where keys can be collected. While your housekeeper will leave a light on and ensure you are treated to a warm welcome, we would always recommend you bring a torch just in case there is no outside lighting.
When you leave
We hope that you have a fantastic holiday in Devon, and while we want you to relax and enjoy the wonderful properties we offer, we do ask that every care is taken of the property and its belongings. Similarly, we would be very grateful if the property could be left in a similar condition to how you find it.
The housekeeper for the property will need access to the property at around 10am or 11am on the day of your departure and we will notify you of your holiday property's arrival and departure times once your holiday balance has been paid. If you have any questions about any of this, please do not hesitate in contacting one of our holiday advisors.
