Less than an hour will take you to the cathedral city of Exeter or north to the coastal beaches of Saunton Sands, Braunton, Wollacombe and Croyde.
South Molton, just fifteen minutes away has a twice weekly market, fine butchers, chemist and a supermarket.
There are some fine restaurants and pubs in the area where local produce is always on the menu, try the London Inn at Molland for mouth watering home cooked food, or for a special occasion the Michelin star The Masons Arms at Knowstone, serves real ale to champagne by the glass.
The owners of Dunsley Mill are happy to arrange horse riding lessons, fishing and restaurant bookings for guests.
