An uphill country track will reveal breathtaking valley views as you turn into the driveway sweeping past the owner's Victorian villa to the beautifully renovated annexe - Little Silver Nugget. Step inside, through patio doors to the atrium where a complimentary welcome hamper awaits you, into a wonderful, spacious interior, decorated in creamy hues with elegant furnishings to create a calming and tranquil abode from which you'll be reluctant to leave. Choose to take breakfast in the bright and airy kitchen or outside on the sun drenched patio. Intimate dinners for two or celebrations with friends can be enjoyed in the main dining room, leading into the living room, a central skylight flooding the room with daylight. A kingsize pocket sprung bed, dressed in the finest Egyptian cotton linens will lull you into a blissful night's sleep. Restored to its former glory a Victorian utility room, once part of the main house, offers additional space for storage and provisions. Bring your hiking boots as this is great walking country, set between the two National Parks, Exmoor and Dartmoor. Within striking distance of the coast, enjoy summer day trips to the golden beaches of the North Devon coast, Woolacombe, Saunton Sands and Croyde all within a 45 min car journey, or enjoy browsing the shops or the famous Pannier Market at North Devon's main town, Barnstaple, a ten minute drive. If you enjoy real ale, jump on the train at Umberleigh, just 2 miles, for the Rail Ale Trail between Exeter and Barnstaple stopping to sample some real ales along the way. There is no shortage of places to eat out close by, choose from fine dining to wholesome, home cooked pub grub. Weirmarsh Farm is one not to miss, an intimate family diner serving home cooked food, less than a mile - but booking in advance is essential.
