Enjoy a well-earned drink or a meal at the 300 year old Ferry Boat Inn on the waterfront at Helford Passage or hop on a ferry across the river to Helford and visit the Shipwrights Arms.
Just over a mile away, the pretty village of Mawnan Smith provides a good range of local facilities with a shop and post office, thatched Inn and restaurant.
Garden enthusiasts will be well catered for with Trebah and Glendurgan Gardens within 2 miles of the cottage.
There is also ample opportunity to play golf, ride, hire a sailing boat or deep sea fish.
Pleasure boat trips depart regularly from the nearby Budock Vean hotel.
The vibrant port of Falmouth is just 4 miles away with its National Maritime Museum and abundance of shops and restaurants.
Within an hour you can visit the surfing coasts of North Cornwall, the Eden Project, the Lizard Peninsula or St Ives and Lands End.
