About the location
Eden project 1 mile; Charlestown 3 miles; St Austell 3 miles; Mevagissey 14 miles.
St Blazey is a small town situated 3miles east of St Austell and is nowadays best known for being the closest to the Eden Project, which is a 10 minute drive from the cottage. Nearby Charlestown is a delightful and much sought after coastal village of stone cottages and regency houses. It is famous for its collection of tall ships riding at anchor in the harbour, the shipwreck museum, excellent pubs and restaurants and easy access to the coastal path. More recently it has become famous for the scenes filmed there for the Poldark series. The old market town of St Austell lies just a few miles from the south coast. A short drive will take you to fashionable Fowey, the fishing port of Mevagissey and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. There are also several National Trust gardens and properties within easy reach. With so much to do this is a great year round location.
