Padstow is a bustling harbour town snuggled on the north-east coast of Cornwall within the River Camel estuary.
It is a charming working fishing port where visitors can relax on golden beaches, enjoy pleasure boat trips, surfing, art galleries, local crafts and homemade fudge.
For culinary experts, then be sure to stop by at Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant overlooking the harbour for outstanding local delicacies.
Walk the 5 minutes to the bicycle hire and take the The Camel Trail where it can be joined at one end of the town towards Padstow for an ice cream on the harbour wall or the other where you can strike inland towards Bodmin and beyond.
