The second floor apartment is accessed from the The Plains via stone steps then a spiral staircase. Once inside guests will enjoy the open plan aspect of the lounge/diner that benefits from large patio doors that open fully onto a Juliet balcony and take in the glorious views over the River. The apartment is very tastefully furnished with timber floors and two large comfortable leather sofas on which to relax. A perfect Devon holiday accommodation should you wish to leave the car behind, Totnes is a great base to explore this beautiful region of South Devon. Within easy reach of popular resorts such as Dartmouth, Kingsbridge and Salcombe and for those who are keen to spend summer days lazing on the beach Blackpool Sands, famous for its safe and clean stretch of golden beach is within a 20 minute drive. Trains, buses and a supermarket are just minutes away from the apartment and there is a fine selection of pubs and bistros in the town serving excellent locally sourced good food, The Waterside Bistro is just below the property on the banks of the river, and is super spot to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the world go by. For those who do bring the car, parking can be found in the town's car park where a weekly ticket can be purchased. Restricted roadside parking can also normally be found to unload.
