Set on a real working farm with 300 acres of tranquil green pasture, the cottages have been refurbished to a high standard, each one individually and attractively styled retaining many character features such as timber beams and stonework from the original farm buildings. A well equipped children's play area will delight children of all ages and, with a communal garden and plenty of parking, the cottages are ideal for groups of friends and family gatherings. With their central location, the cottages are within reach of the western shore and sandy beaches of Saunton Sands, Croyde and Woolacombe, and to the north lies the rugged, invigorating and romantic landscape of Exmoor National Park - internationally famous for the diversity and abundance of its resident wildlife. An area rich in tradition, you will be tempted by farmer's markets, and craft fairs, great food and local ales and, at the end of your stay, you will be rested and recharged and looking forward to returning in future years to the traditional values this delightful countryside destination has to offer. The largest of the cottages, Mill Barn is arranged over two levels and offers versatile accommodation with two bedrooms on the ground floor. Views from the kitchen window look out over the rolling countryside beyond and a spacious lounge/diner can comfortably accommodate a large family gathering at meal times. Guests can make use of the communal covered patio area that is perfect for relaxing on balmy summers' evenings while the children can enjoy the play area beyond.
