Positioned along the end of a private country track, Squirrels Drey a single story barn conversion, detached from the owner's house opposite. It benefits from its own private garden to the rear with gated access to the owners meadow beyond which guests are welcome to use, however care must be taken with children who must be supervised due to the stream and uneven ground. This Devon holiday cottage is attractively furnished with a pale blue settee complemented by pine furniture and stone floors. Its comfortable open plan layout has a dining area within the lounge that leads through to the kitchen with breakfast bar; two bedrooms to the rear of the cottage have views over the countryside. A wood burning stove in the lounge provides additional warmth through the cooler months and adds romantic appeal for couples seeking a secluded cottage in the countryside. Ideal for a small family the cottage can accommodate up to three children, as the owner will provide an additional child's guest bed on request. Despite its rural location the cottage is ideally positioned to explore Devon and into North Cornwall. The cathedral city of Exeter is just a half hour drive and well worth a visit and North Cornish coastal village of Tintagel is just 40 minutes, with the glorious surfing beaches of Bude and Widemouth Bay just a half hours drive. There is plenty of parking outside the property.
