Aries Cottage is positioned in the centre of the picturesque village of Kingswear and is close to all village amenities including a small but well stocked shop, three pubs. The passenger and car ferry service to Dartmouth that operates daily from 7am to 10.45pm. This is a perfect destination for anyone who is looking to holiday by the coast away from the hustle and bustle, yet wants to remain within easy reach of shops, bars and restaurants. A stable door opens into a small but attractive living room and kitchenette with sofa and dining table for four, where every effort has been made to maximise space and storage in this pretty little cottage. Stairs lead to two bedrooms on the first floor with a separate bathroom with WC, with a second WC, affectionately named the 'Throne Room' on another level. Although this property is compact, the cottage has a great deal of charm and character which is emphasised by attractive bed linen and curtains which help frame the windows where glorious views can be enjoyed across Darthaven Marina and the river Dart towards the Royal Naval College and the historic town of Dartmouth which has a full range of shops and excellent restaurants. There is much to see and do in this highly sought after area of the South Hams. Take a river or coastal cruise, or why not explore the South West Coastal Footpath to Brixham in the east or towards Salcombe in the West or take the Dartmouth Steam Railway to Paignton along the spectacular Torbay coastline from the nearby station. There are several National Trust properties within easy reach. There is parking to be found either on the road nearby or in the Marina car park a hundred meters away where there is a £5 charge per 24 hours. There is a launderette adjacent to the Marina entrance.
