Property Description
Surrounded by acres of green countryside with panoramic views stretching towards the sea and beyond, Cheristow Holiday Cottages are set on a thriving small holding just 5 miles west of the fishing village of Clovelly, famed for its whitewashed cottages and cobbled streets. Converted from stone barns dating back to Medieval times, the properties are an ideal base for visitors seeking a 'get away' experience. Perfect for families, a play paddock will provide hours of fun with swings, climbing frame, sand pit, and a variety of ball games; and children will delight in feeding the owner's animals including sheep, ducks, chicken, cows and pigs. (Please note children are to be supervised at all times on the play area and around the animals). A kennel is provided for those with dogs who may wish to venture out for an evening meal, and a luxury shared hot tub and sauna facility is perfect in which to unwind and relax after a busy day with the family. There is nop shortage of off road parking close to the cottages. The surrounding area has a whole range of activities that caters for most peoples needs. Some of the activities in the surrounding area include Surfing, Golfing, Sailing, Cycling, Fishing, Bird Watching and many more. Tucked quietly down a country lane Cheristow is ideally situated. A short walk will find the beaches and rock-pools of the local bay of Berry or Blackpool where children of all ages will love exploring. The village of Hartland, which is within walking distance through ancient woods, offers a variety of shops including a greengrocers, fish and chips shop, off licence/general store, craft shops, pubs, vets, doctors and post office/newsagent. Wells Cottage has been stylishly converted from a former linhay and has been arranged on one level and is easily accessible. A patio to the front of the property with seating and barbeque surrounded with flowers is a lovely sun trap and is perfect to enjoy an alfresco meal in warmer months.
